Training Weekend
Anytime I’m able to be with my agents I feel like one of the luckiest people. They are such a great group and always make me laugh. We had a great weekend together!
On Friday evening, everyone arrived and we ordered Mexican for dinner (thanks to Mike for picking it up and delivering to us!). It was nice to catch up in person! On Saturday morning, we started the day with donuts from Steve’s and coffee (no one goes hungry at the Weitls – or when being hosted by a Weitl!). We also did a fun photo shoot with Jen Heredia and I can’t wait to see all of them (sneak peek above!).
After our photo shoot, it was time to get to work — and we trained at the cabin for the rest of the day. I projected my computer monitor onto the TV in the living room and we walked through all of their questions — while chatting and snacking! About midway through the afternoon I needed a break so we went for a walk. I’m definitely not used to talking for that long these days!
We ate dinner and kept working until about 8:30, when my eyes started to cross! Then we watched Bridesmaid’s before calling it a night (that definitely seems like training to me…).
On Sunday morning, I made brunch – Mickey Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit — and tried my best to imitate Chef Mickey’s. Once everyone was packed, we stopped by my house briefly to meet Chip and the trio before heading home. All of us (myself included!) learned something over the weekend and we all really enjoy each other’s company. I’m already counting down the days until I meet up with a few of my agents in Florida for a quick Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort trip — 12 days!
Ashley was able to stay an extra two nights and her family came up to spend some time with us as well! I’ll write more about our visit with the Hunns tomorrow!
