Flashback Friday: St. Maarten
In an attempt to catch up on all of our past travels that I haven’t had the opportunity to write about, I’ll be sharing a travel flashback every Friday!
Today’s flashback is to our day in St. Maarten when we were on a cruise with two of my agents and their husband’s in February. We sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas and had so much fun. We love cruising and this ship and the ports were amazing — plus we had great company!
We love St. Maarten and it is the island where we spent our first vacation together back in 2002!
We spent our port day at Sunset Bar and Grill waiting for the planes to come in over Maho Beach. We were able to relax, watch the small planes and big jets fly in over the beach and talk uninterrupted (which doesn’t happen a lot these days in our house!). It was a truly lovely day. 
Guavaberry rum is very popular in St. Maarten, so I had a guavaberry colada, along with our indulgent junk food lunch of pizza and nachos.
We can’t wait to take the trio here over spring break 2021! Pineapple Escapes is hosting a group cruise and we will be traveling with several of my agents and clients and we are so excited! The trio is going to love seeing the planes. It will definitely be a much less relaxing adventure with the trio, but I know they will love this gorgeous beach!
