Margaritaville Orlando
Mike and I hadn’t had a night together without our trio since our cruise in February, so our weekend away last weekend was long overdue! Some time away was definitely needed — I’m sure many of you can relate!
We flew to Orlando early Thursday morning from Bloomington and we were at Margaritaville by lunchtime. It’s a beautiful property!
Per usual, I turned our adventure into a quasi-work trip. I am hosting an AEP (Agent Education Program) for my agency in November and I wanted to check out Margaritaville as a possible option for us to stay while we explore Walt Disney World and Universal.
Mike and I enjoyed drinks and nachos before renting bikes and riding around the property. We even found some cottages with a pineapple theme — I think it will be a great home base for my agent training!
We spent the rest of the afternoon poolside, reading our books and relaxing. I made it through a book and a half on our trip, which always makes me happy!
After our pool time, we pulled ourselves together and headed to Disney Springs for dinner at Morimoto Asia! Morimoto deserves its own post, so this is to be continued…
