Orlando. Snacks. Snow.
A quick Orlando trip with a few of my agents – inspired by pineapple treats (we saw a post about this pineapple cookie in Disney Springs and within a few hours had a trip booked…) – quickly turned into quite a long trip! I left over a day early to avoid snow going into Orlando and I flew home a day late because of canceled flights due to snow back in Chicago. Ah, the joys of traveling in February.
While I was very ready to be home and see my trio, Mike, and Chip, the trip was a lot of fun and a nice break from the grey, dreary, and snowy Midwest!
Kristi, Samantha, and Sharon met me in Orlando and we spent time at Disney Springs, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure. It was freezing, especially on our Universal day, and lines were basically non-existent. We barely waited for anything and we were able to cover a lot of ground!
Luckily, they were all on-board for trying some fun Disney snacks – so we basically ate our way around Orlando. I am definitely in need of a cleanse! 😉 Of all the treats we tried, I think my favorite was the sipping chocolate at the American Pavilion Epcot! I also loved the hot Butterbeer in the Wizarding World at Universal!
As always, I loved being able to spend time with a few of my agents. It always amazes me how many great ideas we have when we are together! It is always nice to spend time together in person and to be able to talk about travel for days on end. 🙂
I’ve nearly recovered from this trip, so I guess it is time to go again. ? I’ll be heading to Punta Cana early on Wednesday with three of my agents. We are excited to enjoy the resort and showcase the new COVID testing protocols for our clients.
