Clara & Anna Graduate 8th Grade!
That’s a wrap! After 12 1/2 years at Holy Family, the Weitl Trio are alums! Couldn’t be more proud of these two young women and so excited for all that is to come at LP and their future!
Clara was the Salutatorian of her class. She felt like that was perfect – she didn’t have to give a speech and still got to be recognized! Anna was 4th. They are both the youngest in their class – they won’t be driving until their Junior year! Anna likes to tease that she was the youngest student at LP this year (8th grade algebra) and she probably really was!
For graduation, I teamed up with a couple of Clara’s besties’ moms to get the girls’ tickets to Hamilton in September. They are very excited and can’t wait to go together. All three of them are obsessed. I’m pretty excited because I get to see it again too. 😉
Anna isn’t into Hamilton, so she and I will do a shopping weekend together. She thought her gift was better than Clara’s.
Weitl women! You should see our text threads…
Also really excited for their graduation trip to Alaska! We will be on the Disney Wonder in June and can’t wait to go back. We will be going to Ketchikan this year (which we didn’t stop at last year) and hoping to get to the glacier and sled dogs this year!
Not sure how these three babies – who all started their blog debut as embryos – are now all in high school! I keep thinking I’ll get back to blogging regularly someday – and then look at our schedule and realize that isn’t realistic. Our summer is going to be quite the sprint! All three are swimming, Bo will be playing golf, Clara and Anna are teaching swim lessons in our backyard, Bo is working at the Oglesby pool as a lifeguard and volunteering at Echo Bluff, plus of course they want to do as much with their friends as possible. Even working in our vacation has been a struggle!
I’m sure one day I’ll miss all of the chaos!
