???A Very COVID Halloween???
Halloween definitely looks different for us this year — even different than I thought it would look a week ago… but we are still trying to make the best of it.
With all of us quarantined (and Clara and Anna both still feeling well) the girls are devastated to miss Halloween at school, to not be able to dress up and walk in the parade with their friends and to not be able to go trick or treating. We are trying our best to still make it special for them – we are planning to hide candy for a scavenger hunt (like hiding Easter eggs? I dunno!), they are in costumes for school online today, I’ll make a special dinner and dessert tomorrow, and a few friends have delivered Halloween goodies to our doorstep as well (so, so appreciated!).
In the scheme of things, even the girls know that missing Halloween isn’t something we can get overly upset about. Overall, we are grateful that Bo is doing well and hasn’t had any breathing issues. Hopefully, we caught it in time before it spread too far and the rest of us are spared!
Even though Halloween looks different this year, Clara and Anna are rocking their costumes. Disco girls (we used Clara’s costumes from the spring dance recital that was canceled) and Chip makes a pretty awesome Stitch too.

I love the disco masks! I’m glad that you are all holding up in your stressful situation.
