Wonderland

Spread the love

We were already in love with Harmony of the Seas after a full day of exploring, but our dinner on our first sea day was truly over the top!  We dined at Wonderland, which is one of the specialty restaurants on the ship.  It is quite the experience and unlike any other dining experience, I’ve had at sea.  We tried several new and unique items and had fun doing it!

Mike and Owen have been besties since 6th grade. I could write a book about these two goons — they are quite the duo – and never fail to crack me up. Owen and Ashley live in Missouri and we do our best to see them a few times a year, but with kids and jobs and life, it is never often enough!  This is part of the reason that when I started hiring agents, one of the people I hoped would apply to join my agency was Ashley!  I knew that we would have so much fun being able to travel more together — and I definitely was not wrong!

Wonderland is based on Alice in Wonderland and the entire concept is meant to be a bit odd and whimsical.  The experience begins with painting the menu to reveal the options available…

Then we were treated to multiple courses of food that were unlike anything we’d ever eaten…

It was unique, fun, and the perfect experience to share with friends!  My favorites were the short ribs, crispy crab cones, and the cocktail!

Royal Caribbean does a great job of offering fun dining upgrades.  While I enjoy the dining room (and I’m not a big buffet person…) the specialty dining is really what makes Royal Caribbean a great choice for foodies!
