Holiday Wishlist
Mandy and I had a fun day together. We went to Target, CostCo, and the mall in Champaign and I think I’m finally 100% done with Christmas shopping! Yay! We took exactly one photo to prove that it happened…
I wanted to share a few items that are on my holiday wishlist this year, in case you’re shopping for a friend, looking for ideas for yourself, or just like recommendations. I always find posts like this so helpful as I’m trying to come up with my own wishlist!
- Bombas socks – Yes, these are pricey for a pair of socks, but they are amazing. I’ve bought some for myself the last two years at Christmas and I love them. These are back on my wishlist for the third year in a row.
- Pineapple Kitchen Towels – On my 2021 to-do list is our kitchen remodel! This has been 11 1/2 years in the making and I think 2021 is going to be the year it finally happens. These towels would be the perfect addition!
- Cookbooks – Cookbooks are always on my list. I love reading them and finding new recipes! The top two on my list this year are Dinner Uncomplicated – I listened to the author, Claire Tansey on The Best of Both Worlds Podcast and it seems like it would be one I would use often at our house. I’m also interested in Dinner Illustrated.
None of the items on my wishlist this year are very flashy or exciting. There is truly nothing that I really need and one of the many lessons of 2020 for me is that if I really want something and it’s in the budget, I should just go for it. Life is too short to not just buy the socks. 😉 The holidays for us have truly become about gifting experiences and making everything magical for the trio. As long as I’m traveling, everything else is just icing.
